Coalition Letter to Congressional Leaders on FY23 Rate Increase

NHPCO, HAN, and 12 other supporting hospice and palliative care organizations wrote to House and Senate leadership, urging Congress to call on the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) to make changes to the proposed payment rate increase for Fiscal Year 2023 (FY23) to provide a more sufficient rate. The proposed rate of 2.7% does not match the reality of the unprecedented demands and costs that hospice providers and programs are facing across the country.
