NHPCO and HAN wrote a letter of endorsement of the Supporting Our Seniors Act to Senators Jacky Rosen (NV) and John Boozman (WY). The legislation would have established a national advisory committee with subject matter experts on seniors, individuals with disabilities, and palliative care. The committee would be charged with providing annual policy recommendations on issues such as long-term care, comprehensive care including hospice and palliative care, caregiving supports, and more.
